LG G Pro 2 vs Samsung Galaxy Note 3 quick look (MWC 2014)
We take a look at how two behemoths of the Android world stack up against each other in a quick comparison of the LG G Pro 2 and the Samsung Galaxy Note 3.
LG is bringing the fight to Samsung in the phablet category with the recently-announced LG G Pro 2. Both smartphones are behemoths in their own right – but how do they compare? Here’s a quick look at the LG G Pro 2 vs Samsung’s largest, most premium flagship, the Samsung Galaxy Note 3. Let’s get started!
Both feature very compelling designs, with LG incorporating subtle elements that are borrowed from their current crop of devices, like the LG G2 and the Nexus 5. Taking things a step further, the G Pro 2 slims down the bezels even further, beyond what Samsung, or any other device manufacturer, have done to date.
While Samsung has opted for a more angular design, with a strong rectangular look, LG has curved the corners up a bit, and have sought to create a device that isn’t just visually stunning, but also a joy to hold in the hand, despite its very large size. But, in a good move away from glossy plastic, the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 features a faux leather back cover, which gives it a more premium feel, worthy of its flagship designation.
